A new chapter (Week 47)
"A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies." My daughter Holly polished off the Game of Thrones books when she was in Grade 8, so she knows about book bingeing. I have yet to crack that series, but I get what author George R. R. Martin means about living a thousand lives. So, with a mittful of Christmas holidays at my disposal, I decided to spend a week adding seven lives in seven days. Of course, I don't think any human could devour seven whole books in that time, so I read the first chapter of each one instead.
